trevi and umbria
This post is also available in: French, German, Italian
I watch Trevi from North, where I live, and my sight is lost in thought. My soul finds peace, and is on the same wavelength as the colours of the stones. It gets me beautiful feelings, and bright emotions in every single moment. The hill, with its red leaves in Autumn, and the silver of the olive trees spreading to the ancient city walls, on the top of the hill, is the prelude to the peace and inspiration of an unforgettable picture. -Emiliana Carletti-
I wrote these words while admiring Trevi and its stunning views from the little garden in front of the apartment “il Pao”.
Trevi is a medieval village on the top of a hill facing southern Umbria (Assisi and Spoleto). Old olive trees characterize the whole landscape in Trevi. Olive oil produced here is very famous.
